So I over-reacted. What's new?

Yes. I'll admit it.

University is actually kind of...enjoyable. Ok, not just enjoyable. Fun. Nice. I like it.

There. I like it. Despite the people, and the huge-ness and the 'What? You want me to use my brain?' part, its quickly becoming something that I actually look forward to. I can see myself now, 45 and still studying. They have FOUR libraries. Four BIG libraries. Do you know whats in these libraries? BASICALLY EVERYTHING. Its cool right? The libraries have book vending machines. I lie not. Our town library could fit  into one of the uni libraries study rooms.

My freak out is over, Uni is good, life is well.

For now anyway.

Actually, I wanted to write this post to clear something up. You see, I think people may be getting the wrong idea about me. Like, not just the 'oh, I stumbled across your blog by accident and read the first line' kind of people, but my friends and family. I had no idea that I could be so convincing.

Three important facts about me:

1. I am sarcastic.
2. I over-react.
3. I have this weird style of writing and talking were I combine these two things and create over-dramatic (Over-dramatic...is that a word?), sarcastic sentences which is worrying me a bit because people seem to be believing them.

Case in point: When I say I don't like people, it doesn't actually mean I don't like people. Its not like I never surface from my house, I don't get all shaky when I see a real life being, and I don't prefer the company of cats. Really. I like people. I LOVE some people. (Granted, thats selective.) I'm not as socially awkward as I make myself out to seem. I am, occasionally, relatively normal. (Relative being the key word there.)

Take a sentence from above. I'm not going to study until I'm 45. Thats a lie. Actually, not so much a lie, but an exaggeration. I just added 20 -25 years. Thats what I do.

Personally, it feels strange writing this because...seriously people. If you can't read between the lines or decipher sarcasm...you are probably a much too nice and honest person to bother with reading about me.

Anyway. Nice to have cleared that up.

You know, the ironic thing is that this whole blog post is kind of pointed at my family (*cough* mainly my mother) but she won't ever read it because she doesn't even know I write a blog.

Which means I just wasted my time and yours.

Sorry.

Gracie :)
