There's a first time for everything...

Hi! 

Well, this is my first post, not on a blog, but on a blog all about me. 

What pressure. :) 

So I guess to start I'll paint a little drop back on who I am. 

The other day I was talking to a friend of mine about golf. Take into mind that I am not a golf fanatic, fan, or even tolerant viewer. (This will soon become very clear.) We were talking about the last time we played and I said, (and I quote) 

"I haven't played golf since grade four. And even then I couldn't get the bat to hit the ball off the tee." 

Now, I thought I was pretty clever. I'd even included in my sentence the word "tee" which is a golfing word, so hey, I mustn't be that clueless. That is, until my friend pointed out that you do not use "bats" in golf, you in fact use golf clubs. 

Number one fact about me: I am not a sportswoman. :)

Number two fact: I excel in the art of embarrassing myself. 

For example, the other day I had to book for my SAT test and choose where I wanted to take it. No big deal right? Right. So I booked myself to take the test at the closest school to where I live, called TSS. It wasn't until it was too late to change venue that I realised something. TSS stands for  The Southport School. 

Guys, TSS is an all boys school. 

Such is my life. :) 

Basically, there is a reason that I write blogs and do not play sports of any kind. Apparently co-ordination is an important link which I seem to missing. Its a bit of a shame. :)
